Well, I have been a bit slack in posting our latest trip, getting the kiddies back into the swing of school again (and myself too of course)! On the last weekend of the school holidays we decided to take a quick trip with friends out to the beautiful Charlie Moreland Camp Ground in (Imbil State Forest) Kenilworth! With scorching heat, we are so glad we did. For those who have not been, Charlie Moreland has a fantastic swimming waterhole along the banks of Little Yabba Creek. There are a few walking tracks through the bush, or even just enjoy a walk along the creek. Charlie Moreland is also known for 4x4 Tracks up through Imbil State Forest and through to Jimna. Camping is reasonably priced, and from our last trip, you can see that your money does go back into the maintenance of the grounds, considerably regeneration of native plants, a bonus! There are no showers, (unless you class a swim in the creek as one) and you are camped only 10 minutes from the town of Kenilworth with a fantastic Cheese factory, cafes, pub and awesome playground for the kids! There are fire pits too! For us, last year we had many getaways to amazing places, and this year we have decided to do many long weekends to places not too far away, in preparation for a larger trip next year! We hope this year has kick started your goals into action and we look forward to sharing our adventures with you! AND PLEASE, REMEMBER, TAKE YOUR RUBBISH WITH YOU! Happy Camping! -Broc & Stace |

I am also a lover of touring new places because life is short so we have to make it lovely. We should live gladly by forgetting all our anxieties which are bad for our health as well.
