No kinky business here, just a one night stay at Brooloo Park with friends. Just 45 minutes from home we decided to go bush this time to enjoy the best part of camping.... THE CAMP FIRE!
They say its not camping without a camp fire, and yes, I do agree! After a cook up on the fire and some roasted (or toasted) marshmallows, there was no better way than to kick back and listen to some tunes played on the guitar (thanks Katie & Adam).
Brooloo Park is very well kept with large sites so that you are situated all on your own. Its a great spot for group and families who want to get away from it all. The creek bed, although mostly dry was still stunning and you can imagine how beautiful it would be when the creeks are flowing.
Brooloo Park has a long drop situated at each site and hot showers back up at the office for you to use. They run animal feedings too for the kids on Saturdays.
Perfect place to take the pushies and kick a footy, (although do look out for the trees as it make take some time and a few belly laughs to get them out of them once they are stuck)!
ALL IN ALL, ADD IT TO YOUR LIST OF CAMP SPOTS)
