Road Trip – September 2015

Spring has arrived and so has the many opportunities to getting out there in the great outdoors.

We recently went on a road trip with 3 other families (all self employed – so it was interesting & well needed) which started from the Sunshine Coast and first stop – Seventeen Seventy!

Now you have to get in quick to book a site at the 1770 Caravan Park, those of you that have been there understand why!  It truly is a magnificent place for couples, families & Nomads.

Swimming, fishing & kayaking are just some of the adventures to have here, or why not take a trip on “The Larc”, the well known tour boat that drives on land.  The pub is a short stroll away with such delicious meals and a couple of parks for the kids.

Close by is the town of Agnes Waters that have a few 4wd tracks to some nice remote beaches.

After 3 nights of relaxation, the convoy headed to Middle Creek, just north of 1770.

Now this spot is great for all the fishermen at heart!  There are a few spots to camp in groups, toilets as well as a boat ramp.  This location is great if you want to get away from it all, kick back and do some fishing!  Just remember to take the sand fly spray!

From here the convoy split in 2; having to farewell 2 families for work commitments.  We made our way back south to enjoy a few nights on Fraser Island!

I don’t think I need to comment here on Fraser Island, I know we all know just how special this place is!  Yes we did the tourist spots, but really why wouldn’t you; they are magical.

If you wish to explore Fraser Island, make sure you allow more than 1 week!  There is so much to see!

Broc & I have decided we will go back here again soon, being in such a handy place for us here on the Sunshine Coast!

Please enjoy a few photos of our journey, a note to make sure you take your rubbish with you (even if the rubbish is not yours) and we look forward to sharing our next journey with you, which will be really soon for a long weekend.

Best wishes & we hope to see you out there somewhere in the great outdoors!

Trust is a huge part of a relationship, I will tell you that much. I mean, sure, it is not easy to do it, but it is important regardless. I am thinking that maybe we can go and start to use relationships to help us make happy memories. There are some relationships that do not do that, and it is sad. If you think that trust is hard to create, then you are right, which makes trust an important building block in any relationship.
