This Y61 Patrol custom drawer fitout is so big we had to take the rear doors off to get it in! Hans wanted to make use of every bit of space and we certaintly acheived that.
With three large storage drawers and one utensil drawer there’s space for eveything need when camping. Under the fridge slide is a large table and in the drawer beneath that is a pullout bench, both with stainless steel tops, perfect for meal prep and cooking on.
Just in case Hans didn’t have enough storage space we gave him removable side wings which give access to the space underneath and also act as a shelf to store other items.
This is Sam’s second OTS rear drawer setup in this car. After using his old fitout for a few years and doing some big trips he decided to change things up and make some improvements. There’s two large drawers stacked and a utensil drawer under the frdige slide. The fridge is boxed in but importantly there’s still enough room on top for a slab of beer!
Sam was doing all the electrical work himself so we fitted two lithium batteries and an ARB twin compressor under the side wings.
Where the rear seats used to be is now a platform for his dog and a custom storage box with a cavity for a subwoofer and we even built in a Travel Buddy in the side.

Mark’s Landcruiser has the perfect rear drawer setup for touring. There’s an Engel 30L drawer fridge with a free standing table/ pull out bench stored above it making it easy to pull over for a snack. There’s a deep drawer and a shallow utensil drawer so he can keep everything organised and accessible, along with the storage under the removable side wings and even a hidden compartment behind the fridge. For those longer trips away Mark can put another fridge on the flush fridge slide so he never has to worry about running out of beer!
To make it easy to crash for the night, there’s a removable sleeping platform that can be setup in just a couple of minutes.
There’s a really neat electrical setup in this 76. Starting with the battery, a Cangoee 110ah slimline lithium accompanied by a Victron 75/25 solar controller, Victron 20A 240V battery charger and a Victron 1200W Inverter (so Mark can run his Makita coffee machine!). To make it easy to connect a solar blanket there is an Anderson plug mounted under the towbar. Keeping track of the status of the battery is a Victron battery monitor that has Bluetooth built in so everything is accessible on a smart phone.

A great canopy fit out for this RAM2500. We built two rear stacked storage drawers leaving an open space for the spare tyre. The fridge slide has a large open box behind the convenient and easily accessible Evakool Upright fridge. Under the slide is a stainless-steel table, use it as a bench or take it out, open the legs and it’s a free-standing table. We also built an easy reach slide out pantry, battery box, electrical enclosure.

What a great custom 4×4 drawer setup in this Y62. Touring is so easy with the Evakool drawer fridge and the pullout bench right next to it. There’s also a decent sized table stored above the fridge so you have ample bench space wherever you need it.

Brendan had a simple requirement for this build, fit a 40L drawer fridge, 3 drawers, lithium battery, inverter and a 40L water tank and keep it under 450mm high so he could sleep on top! At Outback Touring Solutions we love a challenge so I said no problem!
Using the wasted space bewteen the drawer system and the rear seat is our 110Ah Slimline lithium system. In the passenger side wing area a Victron 1200W Inverter fits perfectly and provides easy access to the 240V outlet through the wing face.
In the drivers side wing area we custom built a 40L water tank that neatly follows the contour of the vehicle trim and bolts to the side of the drawers. Also included is a 12V water pump with an outlet in the wing face making it super easy to connect a hose or shower.
Lastly so Brendan can get a good night sleep, there’s a removable sleeping platform that only takes a minute to setup and stores perfectly flat on top of the drawer system.
